When you see the FLASHING LIGHTS of an ambulance, fire truck, or police car on the shoulder of the freeway, you MUST MOVE A LANE AWAY FROM THE EMERGENCY VEHICLE if possible to do so safely.
If you are not able to safely move a lane away, SLOW DOWN. The majority of violations are caused by senior drivers who were not aware of this law.
